Bao Zhong Oolong Tea

Sale price Price $18.00 Regular price Unit price  per

This delicate, lightly-oxidized tea hails from Pinglin, a lush, low-lying region of northern Taiwan, and came into its own as a highly sought-after export in the late 19th century. "Bao Zhong" refers to the way it was traditionally wrapped in paper, and rather than ball-rolled like many oolongs the leaves are twisted in plane, which means it’s important to store this tea in an airtight container for freshness if you are not a regular drinker! The refreshing, umami taste of this brew is sure to lift the spirits as a morning pick-me-up, and is equally enjoyable served hot and iced.
