At Three Leafs Tea, our specialty is oolong: the signature tea of Taiwan. Oolongs are oxidized anywhere between 8 and 85%. This oxidation process—together with the growing altitude, climate conditions and a multitude of other factors—influences the tea’s flavor and character. The finest teas, though, come from the island’s single estate farms, where hand-picking is the method of choice to preserve the integrity of the leaf.

We travel up and down Taiwan getting to know the people behind our teas. These artisan growers do not only pour their heart and soul into producing fine brews, but also keep a centuries-old tradition of environmental custodianship alive.
